The Owner's Story

Chuck’s Story

Chuck Patton, co-owner of Traffic Builders Inc with his wife Tricia, has been a Louisville entrepreneur for 23 years in the marketing and advertising industry.  After selling his company in 2015, Chuck was looking to start another venture with three ideal objectives – Have fun, be different, and be an industry disruptor.  While vacationing in Charleston SC. Chuck and Tricia experienced their very first cat cafe.  Little did he know that this would be his next challenge and lead to the opening of Louisvilles first cat cafe.
“I knew this was a concept that Louisville would embrace and support and I had to bring it back to the Highlands.  Also, having the Kentucky Humane Society as a resource to make this come true, was huge.  I want my entrepreneural and business experience to be a strong backbone for this cause, allowing Purffect day to make an impact in our community for a very long time.”
Chuck is a graduate of WKU and has two children, Chase Patton and Kayla Patton, along with his wife Tricia.

Meet the Purrfect Team

Our team is bonded not only through our love of cats but also in a mission to change the way homeless animals are adopted in America.  Is there any better job than bringing a new creative concept to our home town, playing with cats all day, and making a difference to the homeless animal population?

Robert Mason

Robert Mason

Top Cat

Robert (Bobby) Mason and his wife, Lindsey, are the proud parents of five fur babies (Kathar, Toodles, Tsu’tey, Mystra & Bynx)–most of which were rescues. He came from working retail at Barnes and Noble for 14 years. In that time, he learned the many ways that the work done behind the scenes benefits the customer. He’s hopeful that his attention to detail prevents any CAT-astrophes and his ability to create an inviting atmosphere benefits the Purrfect Day Café and all the cats we hope to help!
