Information for Limited Re-Opening May 22 Until Further Notice
We are es-CAT-ic to announce that we will once again be open to the public, with limitations on May 22nd, in line with the governor’s guidelines. Please review the following information before making your visit so we can ensure a PURRFECT time:
We are so pleased to have our fans back but we do ask that you continue to bear safety measures in mind. If you are sick, have been in contact with someone who is sick, or in a high risk category (over 65, immunocompromised, pulmonary illness, etc) please don’t risk a visit. We, of course, are taking all recommended precautions but we want you to be safe. We promise, we will have cats for you when it is safe for you to come. Special accommodations are being made for adopters in those categories. Once approved for adoption, Purrfect Day will discuss those with you directly.
We are implementing the following procedures to minimize the risk of exposure/transfer of any illness:
First and foremost, the adoption process change listed above is in line with limiting meetings and using telework when possible
We will have minimal staff on site to allow more guests. We ask for your patience if things are really busy. We will work diligently to help you and bring more staff on as numbers increase.
Staff will be wearing masks and guests are highly encouraged to bring their own as well. We will have some handmade masks on site for sale if you would like to help support us in that way (keep in mind supplies will be limited so bring your own, just in case).
Seating around the bar is not permitted at this time to allow for social distancing.
There are paw prints on the floor every 6 ft in the bar area to help remind you where to stand. Furniture in the cat lounge, loft, and catio are arranged every 6 ft to also keep everyone safe.
Sanitizer will be available in the bar and cat lounge per our regular procedures. We also encourage guests to wash their hands upon arrival and before leaving in our restrooms, conveniently located right by the bar area.
We will be limiting the number of guests in the cafe to 33% of our full capacity per the governor’s restaurant guidelines. This will mean we allow SIX GUESTS EACH in the cat lounge, bar area, and loft.
Please enter the cafe via our side entrance on the catio as we will be having guests leave via the front entrance to avoid crowding in the hallway.
Again, thank you so much for your continued support. We couldn’t do what we do without you. Apparel, food, and drink will also be available for purchase. Items will be packaged to go but if you wish to enjoy them on site, we will direct you to our catio or loft space.
Feel free to book right MEOW!
